Our mission with Wealth was clear: to simplify and secure the estate planning process while infusing it with accessibility and warmth.
At Clay, a San Francisco-based UI/UX design agency, we believe in the power of visual identity to convey expertise and energy. Working closely with Wealth's team, we embarked on a journey to translate their vision into a vibrant and inviting brand experience. Central to this endeavor was the development of a distinctive color palette featuring lively green and yellow hues, complemented by the playful yet timeless typography of Reckless by Displaay and Neue Haas Unica Pro by Monotype.
Reckless, with its timeless character, was selected to imbue the brand with a sense of tradition and distinction. Paired with Neue Haas Unica Pro, a versatile sans serif font, it strikes the perfect balance between modernity and classic appeal. Our choice to set the brand's wordmark in lowercase underscores this blend of tradition and innovation, creating a visual identity that is both familiar and forward-thinking.
In addition to color and typography, illustration played a pivotal role in shaping Wealth's brand identity. Designed to guide users through the sensitive process of estate planning, our illustration system reflects a gentle and approachable tone. We understood the importance of infusing warmth and humanity into a topic often associated with dry and impersonal details. By incorporating soft, graceful shapes, our illustrations invite users to engage with the product on a more personal level, fostering a sense of connection and trust.
